Hether Bearinger, Los Angeles based jewelry artist creates stunning
representations of wilderness landscapes inspired by her years as a
professional white water river guide.
Her one of a kind “Beadscapes” are hand woven a single
bead at a time—using vintage and contemporary seed beads, customized
metal, and precious stone to reflect the dance of light in nature.
Bold and organic, the Bearinger collection includes free form beaded
cuffs, necklaces, earrings and rings.
Hether Bearinger is a self taught artist who studied traditional American
Indian bead weaving and metalsmith techniques while living and traveling
in the American Southwest. Her “off-loom” weaving allows
an intuitive and painterly beading process, resulting in a collection
of jewelry that is sculptural, fluid, and elegant.
